The homeowners of this Brookline home, New England natives who’d recently moved back from Washington D.C., loved its established neighborhood and that it was within walking distance to the elementary school their young children would eventually attend. The interior, however, needed a major upgrade, says interior designer Robin Gannon of Robin Gannon Interiors. “The couple had purchased the house from a developer who had renovated it,” she recalls. “but it lacked character; the aesthetic was very vanilla milkshake—there was no flavor to it.” View the full article here.
